Maverick Photo Viewer serves only one purpose and it serves it well. The application lets you view digital pictures in a simple and comfortable manner. It doesn't come with any advanced sorting or tagging functions, but it will definitely satisfy your needs if you just want to look at your pictures.

The application is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it can be installed at a moment's notice. It doesn't ask for any special tools or services and its hardware requirements are insignificant, especially for a modern day machine.

Images are displayed on the entire surface of the user interface. You can either drag and drop a picture over the window or set Maverick Photo Viewer as your default image viewer, so you an just double click an image to load it onto its user interface. Switching between full screen and windowed mode can be done at any time, by double clicking anywhere on the picture itself.

A set of controls are made available in the lower part of the interface, when you move the mouse cursor. You can use them to jump to the next or previous image, to rotate them, view their metadata and much more. You can also find a few adjustment options, for brightness, contrast and other characteristics.
